Position: CE Driver - Walvis Bay



Department: Logistics / Transport

Location: Walvis Bay

Key Responsibilities



  • Operate CE-class heavy vehicles safely and responsibly.
  • Transport and deliver goods to designated locations according to schedules.
  • Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Ensure that the vehicle is roadworthy and report any defects or maintenance requirements immediately.
  • Safely load, secure, transport, and offload cargo.
  • Complete delivery notes, trip sheets, vehicle inspection forms, and other required documentation.
  • Ensure all delivery documentation is properly signed and returned.
  • Comply with company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) requirements.
  • Follow all road traffic laws and company driving procedures.
  • Maintain good communication with dispatchers, supervisors, customers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Report accidents, incidents, delays, breakdowns, or damage immediately.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the assigned vehicle.
  • Monitor fuel usage and report any irregularities.
  • Assist with basic vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is properly secured when parked.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties related to the position.


Minimum Requirements



  • Valid CE Driver's Licence.
  • Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP),
  • Valid Dangerous Goods (DG) certification
  • Proven experience as a heavy vehicle/truck driver.
  • Experience in logistics, transport, or distribution will be an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of road safety regulations.
  • Ability to complete and manage transport and delivery documentation.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime when required.
  • Good understanding of vehicle safety and cargo securing procedures.
