A professional expatriate family in Windhoek is seeking an experienced Live-in Educational Au Pair to provide educational support and day-to-day care for two boys (ages 8 and 10) attending Windhoek International School (WIS). The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting learning within the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years and Middle Years Programmes while acting as a key liaison between the family and the school.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support homework, projects, reading and academic development
2. Reinforce IB learning and study skills
3. Coordinate school communication and activities
4. Transport children to school and extracurricular activities
5. Plan educational and recreational activities
6. Assist with daily routines, meals and organisation
7. Provide regular progress reports to parents

Minimum Requirements

• Qualification in Education, Primary Teaching or related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience working with school-aged children
• Strong understanding of the IB PYP/MYP curriculum (advantageous)
• Excellent English communication skills
• Valid driver's licence
• First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Police clearance and contactable references
