Job Purpose



The Lead Material & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all offshore materials, warehousing, inventory, cargo movements, and logistics activities onboard the FPSO. The role ensures the timely availability of equipment, spare parts, consumables, and critical materials required to support safe and efficient production and maintenance operations. The position serves as the focal point for offshore logistics, coordinating with the onshore logistics base, procurement, marine operations, helicopters, supply vessels, and contractors while ensuring full compliance with Company HSSEQ standards and applicable offshore regulations.

Qualifications



Essential



  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Offshore survival certification (e.g., BOSIET/FOET or equivalent).
  • Valid Offshore Medical Certificate.
  • Proficiency in ERP/CMMS systems (preferably SAP MM or equivalent).


Preferred



  • Professional certification in Supply Chain or Logistics (e.g., CIPS, APICS/ASCM, CILT, or equivalent).
  • Dangerous Goods (IMDG) certification.
  • Banksman/Slinger or Lifting Operations awareness training.
  • Warehouse Management certification.


Experience



Essential



  • Minimum 8 years experience in materials management, warehousing, or logistics within the oil and gas industry.
  • Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or lead logistics role.
  • Previous offshore experience on an FPSO, offshore production platform, drilling rig, or offshore support vessel.
  • Experience coordinating marine logistics, cargo operations, and inventory control.
  • Experience using SAP MM or equivalent materials management systems.


Preferred



  • Experience supporting offshore production operations.
  • Experience with integrated maintenance and materials planning.
  • Knowledge of customs and international freight documentation.

Working Conditions



  • Offshore rotational assignment (typically 21/21 or 28/28).
  • 12-hour shifts with additional support during vessel arrivals, cargo operations, and emergency situations.
  • Frequent work in warehouses, laydown areas, quayside interfaces, and open deck cargo areas.
  • Exposure to offshore weather conditions, heavy lifting operations, and marine logistics activities.
  • Required use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and strict adherence to lifting and cargo handling procedures.
