The Role

We are looking for a sharp, resilient Senior Accountant who loves a fast-paced environment and takes pride in flawless financial records. If you are someone who stays calm under pressure, loves solving complex financial puzzles, and wants to take ownership of a client portfolio, we want to hear from you.   

What You'll Do

• Own the Books: Process and review client financial information seamlessly on Sage Pastel.
• Build Financial Statements: Draft and compile accurate Annual Financial Statements using Draftworx.
• Master Compliance: Take charge of ITAS submissions and complex tax calculations to ensure everything is submitted perfectly and on time.
• Lead Audits: Manage NamRA audits confidently, handling documentation and professional correspondence.
• Drive Client Success: Keep the assigned portfolio completely up to date, providing regular reporting without missing a single deadline.
• Keep Us Connected: Maintain open lines of communication with senior management regarding portfolio updates.

What We're Looking For

• The Background: 5+ years of solid accounting experience, especially in compiling Annual Financial Statements.
• The Credentials: A Degree in Accounting or equivalent. (Bonus points for NIPA registration!).
• The Tech Stack: Deep proficiency in Sage Pastel, Draftworx, and advanced Excel.
• The Knowledge: A strong understanding of Namibian tax laws and reporting standards.
• The Mindset: Laser-focused on detail, highly independent, and cool under pressure.
