Job Purpose
The Deck Crew is responsible for supporting the safe and efficient execution of routine deck operations onboard the FPSO. The role assists with cargo handling, lifting operations, vessel support, mooring activities, housekeeping, and routine maintenance of deck equipment and structures. Working under the direction of the Deck Lead, the Deck Crew ensures all activities are carried out in accordance with Company HSSEQ policies, marine procedures, and applicable maritime regulations to support safe and continuous offshore production operations.
Qualifications
Essential
- Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.
- Offshore survival certification (e.g., BOSIET/FOET or equivalent).
- Valid Offshore Medical Certificate.
Preferred
- Certificate in Marine Operations or Deck Operations.
- Banksman & Slinger certification.
- Basic Rigging certification.
- Helideck Operations awareness training.
- Basic seamanship training.
Experience
Essential
- Minimum 2–3 years experience in offshore deck operations, marine operations, or cargo handling within the oil and gas or maritime industry.
- Previous experience on an FPSO, offshore production platform, drilling rig, offshore support vessel, or merchant vessel.
- Experience assisting with lifting operations and cargo handling.
Preferred
- Experience supporting offshore logistics and marine operations.
- Experience with mooring operations and deck maintenance.
- Familiarity with hazardous area working practices.
