Job Description:

We are seeking a strong and experienced operational leader to oversee daily operations, ensure strict adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements, and drive operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing team workflows, maintaining high service standards, resolving operational challenges, and engaging professionally with customers as a key representative of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations

  • Motivate employees, resolve issues, and make difficult decisions.
  • Serve as a conduit of communication between employees and senior management.
  • Implement established business strategy, assigning roles and tasks to dedicated team members based on strengths and abilities.
  • Identify and implement positive changes in cost reduction and waste elimination.
  • Meet and exceed organizational goals with optimum use of workforce and resource allocation.

  • Ensure compliance with state and legal policies and procedures.
  • Manage workflow and ensure employees fully comprehend responsibilities and delegated tasks.
  • Set performance goals and deadlines in line with the company's vision.
  • Maintain timekeeping and personnel records.
  • Visit all outlets to ensure merchandisers are on duty and meet with the shop managers.
  • Ensure staff have proper PPE.
  • Compile rotation list for merchandisers every 2-3 months.
  • Manage staff leave.
  • Collect and submit weekly timesheets.
  • Ensure stock rotation is carried out at all outlets.
  • Update the Sales Reps on low stock, out of stock as well as claims in advance.
  • Identify where additional staff are needed and complete the contracts with the staff.
  • Arrange for weekly airtime / data for staff.
  • Ensure that company rules and regulations are followed and issue warnings where needed.
  • Conduct regular meetings with staff or Sales Reps to iron out issues.

2. Quality Assurance

  • Direct work of employees to meet quality and on-time delivery requirements; address production challenges and communicate with appropriate leadership.
  • Monitor team productivity and provide performance evaluations,constructive feedback, mentorship, and discipline as needed.
  • Receive and track employee and customer complaints and resolve problems.
  • Quality control and continuous customer satisfaction, achieved through effective employee training and implementation of company policies and Procedures.
  • Monitor merchandising whatsapp groups to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Training and guiding team on programs.

3. Off-loading Supervisor

  • Allocate off-loaders to various trucks delivering.
  • Complete tickets for payments of team daily.
  • Ensure that staff have proper PPE.
  • Transport or arrange transport for off-loaders to the respective outlets that are receiving.

Requirements: 

  • Minimum Grade 12
  • Professional certification will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Proven work experience in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively across departments.
