Job Purpose
The Operations Engineer is responsible for providing onshore engineering and operational support to the FPSO, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient daily production operations. The primary focus of the role is to optimise hydrocarbon production, maximise plant availability, improve operational efficiency, minimise production losses, and support safe execution of offshore activities. The Operations Engineer acts as the technical interface between the onshore support organisation and the offshore operations team, providing engineering guidance, production analysis, operational planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Professional Engineer registration or eligibility is advantageous.
- Additional training in production operations, process optimisation, or production engineering is desirable.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of operational or production engineering experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Minimum 5 years supporting FPSOs, offshore production facilities, offshore platforms, or LNG operations.
- Demonstrated experience in production optimisation and daily operational support.
- Experience supporting offshore production planning and maintenance coordination.
- Experience with commissioning, start-up, and production ramp-up activities is advantageous.

- Production surveillance and reporting systems (e.g., AVEVA PI System, production data management software, or equivalent).
- Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
