Requirements

Formal Qualification

• Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
• A formal qualification in Accounting, Finance, Bookkeeping, Financial Management or a related field is required.
• Relevant professional accounting/bookkeeping qualifications will be an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in creditors/accounts payable, with proven supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Strong practical experience in supplier reconciliations, invoice processing, payment preparation and creditor ageing.
• Proven bookkeeping experience and understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Experience working with accounting systems.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to use formulas, PivotTables, lookups, data analysis and reconciliation functions.
• Strong bookkeeping and accounting skills.
• Excellent numerical and analytical ability.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to analyse financial information and identify discrepancies.
