Job Purpose



The Material Logistics Analyst is responsible for planning, coordinating, tracking, and analysing the movement of materials, equipment, spare parts, drilling consumables, and project cargo between suppliers, warehouses, ports, vessels, and offshore Operations. The role ensures that materials are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with operational schedules while maintaining inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective logistics.

The Material Logistics Analyst serves as the link between Procurement, Warehouse, Marine Logistics, Finance, Customs, Freight Forwarders, Port Authorities, and Offshore Operations to ensure uninterrupted supply chain support for offshore activities.

HSSEQ Responsibilities



Minimum Qualifications



  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Maritime Studies, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (preferred).
  • SAP MM or equivalent ERP system training (advantageous).
  • Dangerous Goods (IMDG/IATA) certification (advantageous).


Experience



  • Minimum 5 years' experience in logistics, materials management, or supply chain operations.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience supporting Oil & Gas, offshore drilling, marine, mining, or heavy industrial operations.
  • Experience in offshore logistics and vessel supply coordination.
  • Experience in warehouse and inventory management.
  • Experience with customs clearance and international freight movements.
  • Experience using ERP logistics systems (SAP MM, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent).


Technical Knowledge



  • Materials management principles.
  • Offshore logistics operations.
  • Marine and port logistics.
  • Inventory management and warehousing.
  • International freight forwarding and customs procedures.
  • Incoterms and shipping documentation.
  • ERP systems (SAP MM preferred).
  • Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel preferred).
  • Dangerous Goods Regulations (IMDG/IATA/ADR).
  • Supply chain performance measurement and KPI reporting.
