Job Purpose



The HSSEQ Engineer is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving the Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality Management Systems (HSSEQ) supporting offshore drilling rig operations from the onshore logistics base. The role ensures compliance with company policies, client requirements, applicable legislation, international standards, and Oil & Gas industry best practices. The HSSEQ Engineer promotes a proactive safety culture, environmental stewardship, operational excellence, and continuous improvement throughout all offshore support activities.

Minimum Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' HSSEQ experience within Oil & Gas, offshore drilling, logistics, marine operations, energy, or heavy industrial environments.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience supporting offshore drilling rigs, offshore logistics bases, or oilfield service operations.
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of IOGP, API, IMO, SOLAS, IMDG, and offshore logistics standards.
  • Professional HSSE qualification (NEBOSH International General Certificate, NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH Managing Safely, SAMTRAC, or equivalent).
  • Experience conducting incident investigations and management system audits.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and reporting systems.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Valid driver's license.
