Job Purpose
The Rotating Equipment Engineer is responsible for providing onshore technical support for all critical rotating equipment installed on the FPSO to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production operations. The primary focus of the role is to maximise rotating equipment reliability, optimise maintenance strategies, improve equipment availability, reduce unplanned downtime, and support lifecycle asset integrity. The role works closely with offshore Operations, Maintenance, Mechanical, Process, Electrical, Instrumentation, Reliability, and Asset Integrity teams to provide specialist engineering support for rotating machinery throughout its operational lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Professional Engineer registration or eligibility is advantageous.
- Formal training in rotating equipment engineering, reliability engineering, or vibration analysis is desirable.
- Certification in vibration analysis (e.g., ISO Category II or higher) is advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of rotating equipment engineering experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation, or marine industries.
- Minimum 5 years supporting FPSOs, offshore production facilities, offshore drilling units, LNG facilities, or similar process plants.
- Demonstrated experience with compressors, pumps, turbines, and associated auxiliary systems.
- Experience in predictive maintenance and condition monitoring programmes.
- Experience supporting major overhauls, shutdowns, commissioning, and brownfield modifications.
Technical Knowledge
- Centrifugal and reciprocating compressors.

- SAP S/4HANA or SAP ERP (Plant Maintenance module advantageous)
