Job Description:

We are seeking an ambitious, self-starting Marketing & Brand Specialist to build our marketing department and brand identity. Your primary mission is to establish our business as the premier, trusted choice for hotels, lodges, and guesthouses across Namibia.

As a Marketing Creative, you will play a key role in building brand visibility and driving digital marketing strategies that connect with clients and target audiences. You will develop compelling campaigns, manage digital platforms, and create engaging content that supports business objectives. In addition to marketing responsibilities, the role includes a sales-focused aspect, requiring proactive outreach and relationship management with lodges, hotels, guesthouses, and boutique hotels throughout Namibia to identify opportunities and expand the company's market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Infrastructure: Define our brand voice, launch corporate profiles on social media platforms, and build a professional market presence from the ground up.
  • Digital & Email Campaigns: Build a targeted database of Namibian hospitality professionals to execute engaging email sequences, newsletters, and product launches.
  • Website & Catalog Management: Maintain our digital product catalogues, ensuring accurate photography, product specifications, and regular online updates.
  • Performance Tracking: Analyse digital traffic, inquiry forms, and social media metrics to continuously refine and optimize our marketing strategy.
  • Trend Analysis: Monitor local digital trends and aesthetic shifts in the regional hospitality and decor space to recommend new inventory and product styles.
  • Client Engagement & Travel: Travel outside of Windhoek as required to visit clients, build relationships, and assess regional market needs.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: At least a Diploma in Marketing or a closely related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, brand management, or content creation.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the Namibian tourism and hospitality landscape is highly advantageous.
  • The "From Scratch" Mindset: A proven ability to work independently, build marketing strategies from the ground up, and turn a blank canvas into a professional brand footprint.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Must have good people skills to communicate well with different people in the hospitality industry in Namibia, as well as the ability to get along well with teammates.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills in English are required, and Afrikaans will be a great advantage.
  • Mobility: Valid Namibian driver's license is compulsory for occasional client visits.
